FOOD DRIVE - New Beech Grove and the Newport News Police Department are working together to collect non-perishable foods to be distributed in Thanksgiving baskets. Please bring in your donations no later than Wed, Nov 14 after Bible Study. Contact Sis. Betty Davis, 877-4114.

MUSIC MINISTRY - is preparing for our Christmas Cantata, Dec 9, “Come to the Manger.” We need actors, choir members, readers, seamstresses, costume designers, stage builders, and crew members and others who may want to volunteer their services. Contact: Carla Jones, 650-7720.

PRAISE DANCERS AND STEP TEAM - are to perform at the Colony Fall Festival and neighborhood Yard Sale on Sat, Nov 17th at 1:00 pm. Please come out and support our youth. Contact Sis. Laura Northern, 344-8486.

COMBINED THANKSGIVING DAY SERVICE - NBG Church family will have a combined Thanksgiving Day Service on Nov 22, 2007 at 10:00 am with the First Baptist Church Morrison (next door to the DMV Office), Pastor Rev. Marcellus Harris. The church is located at 12720 Patrick Henry Drive, Newport News, VA.

ALL MINISTRIES - that have not turned in their projected 2008 budget and calendars, please do so as soon as possible. We need tis information to complete the church’s calendar and budget for the following year. Information can be emailed to cedu@nbgbc.org or hand delivered personally to Deacon Robert Garvin.
